Resolved Question: Movie about teenager raising baby chicks?

Hi. This movie has been on my mind all day and I have been trying to
research it but couldn't find anything. So its a movie about a
teenage/child getting baby chick eggs. So they hatch and she gets
really close to the baby chicks. Her mother, I think, tries to call an
animal shelter to take them but they end up cutting one of the chicks
beak. At the end of the movie the birds learn how to fly and fly
south.

Does anyone know the name of this movie?
